Meet Our Team - Cătălin Bărboianu

Dr. Cătălin Bărboianu is a mathematician, writer, and philosopher with a research focus on applied mathematics and the psychology of problem gambling. He holds an MSc in Probability Theory and Statistics and a PhD in Philosophy of Science, both from the University of Bucharest. Dr. Bărboianu has authored many journal articles as well as fourteen books, eight of which spotlight the mathematics of gambling. His most recent publication is Understanding Your Game: A Mathematician's Advice for Rational and Safe Gambling.
