We’ve listed the top-rated real money blackjack sites. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, we’ve ranked our preferred blackjack sites by category, allowing you to find the site that suits you. We’ve covered the recommended sites by their blackjack game variety, bonuses and promotions, security and user experience.
BestUSCasinos have compared game options, explained how to pick a site based on your preferences, and recommended the sites compatible for mobile devices.
Note: Throughout this blackjack game guide, we refer to random number generator (RNG) and live dealer blackjack. RNG games use an algorithm to ensure the blackjack games are fair and have random outcomes. They are used in electronic table games. On the other hand, live dealer games use an actual live dealer and are more in line with the experience you would have at a brick-and-mortar casino.

Consider these tips if you need help deciding which blackjack site is best for you.
Choosing a Blackjack Site Based on Game Preference
There are numerous blackjack variations available in online casinos, and you may enjoy different blackjack variations like Zappit, European, or Super 7. To ensure your casino has the games you prefer, always look through the blackjack selection before signing up.
Consider Your Experience Level
If you’re a beginner, you might want to consider choosing a casino that offers free blackjack in practice mode, such as DuckyLuck. More advanced players might rather enjoy blackjack casinos like Wild Casino, which offers a large selection featuring 20 RNG variants and 26 live dealer tables.
Selecting a Blackjack Site Based on Your Budget
Most blackjack games have $1 or $5 per hand as the minimum bet, so if you’re on a tight bankroll, pick a casino that offers the $1 option. If you have a larger bankroll, you can enjoy table limits up $50,000 at live dealer blackjack casinos like Bovada.
Preferred Payment Methods for Blackjack Sites
All our recommended blackjack casinos accept cryptocurrency, but not all of them accept credit cards and other payment methods. To make sure that your preferred payment method is available at your chosen blackjack casino, check our detailed casino reviews.
Types of Blackjack Games Available
Here’s a look at the various types of blackjack games you can play online.
Live Blackjack Variants
With the improvement in 5G Internet and Fibre Internet at home, live blackjack with a real dealer has become more popular than RNG virtual blackjack. The multiplayer aspect and the fact that is real, not just a computer simulation, has made live dealer blackjack one of the most popular online types.
Side bets can add a small amount of value to your blackjack bets, with the option to win at large odds for flushes, for example. Most live blackjack games now will allow you to place side bets and also offer insurance incase the dealer has blackjack.
Classic Blackjack
Classic Blackjack, also known as American Blackjack, has one objective: You must get a higher point total than the dealer, without exceeding 21. Aces are worth 1 or 11 points, and face cards are worth 10 points.
This variation of blackjack often includes insurance and early surrender options. Insurance is available when the dealer’s first face-up card is an Ace — or you can surrender your hand before the dealer reveals his hole card. If you need a more detailed refresher, check out our guide to insurance and surrender rules before you dive in.
European Blackjack is typically played with six decks, but it varies from casino to casino. It has the same objective as Classic Blackjack, but there are slight differences in the rules.
You can only split 10-valued cards that are the same, such as two Jacks, and the dealer stands on soft 17 vs. hitting on soft 17 like in the American version. Furthermore, the dealer does not draw their hole card until all players have completed their hands, making insurance a bad bet.
Zappit Blackjack plays like traditional blackjack, but it lets players “zap” their initial two cards. This happens if they have a hard total of 15, 16, or 17 before the dealer’s second card is shown. These cards are replaced with two new cards, offering a chance to improve the hand.
However, if the dealer has a ‘Blackjack,’ the player loses both the original and replacement hands. Insurance is available on Aces in most variations of Zappit.
Super 7 combines traditional blackjack with a side bet. You make this side bet before the cards are dealt on the possibility of receiving a hand with sevens.
Payouts are based on the number of sevens you receive. You win if the first card you’re dealt is a seven, and the payout increases the more consecutive sevens you get. Suited sevens pay the most, and the maximum payout of 5,000:1 is reached if you get three suited sevens.
Pontoon is like traditional blackjack, but there are a few minor differences in this British version of 21. You achieve ‘Pontoon’ by getting an Ace and a face card, and this combination, or any other that reaches 21, gives you a win, no matter what the dealer’s hand reveals.
The other difference is the dealer must hit on 16 and soft 17. And, finally, instead of a push if there’s a tie on 20 or less — the dealer wins.
Many of our recommended online blackjack casinos offer practice mode. Practice mode is a great way to play blackjack for free without making a real wager. Most blackjack games offering this feature have a fun money balance of $1,000–$2,000, which you can restock by reloading the game. Use these demo games to try new variations of blackjack you haven’t played before, or to practice a new betting strategy for blackjack.
To get started with blackjack on a casino site, you must first register and deposit some funds. We've got a simple walkthrough below explaining each step.
Can I Play on Mobile?
You can play blackjack for real money on your mobile device thanks to HTML5, which makes the websites adjust to any screen size. Our recommended blackjack casinos are compatible with iOS and Android phones and tablets. Access blackjack casinos from your phone’s browser by typing in the URL.
Top Tips for Winning at Blackjack
Follow these tips for an optimal online blackjack game experience.
Play Free Blackjack
Playing free RNG blackjack games in practice or demo mode at online casinos is a great way to test variations you haven’t played before. Many blackjack players also use this method to sharpen their skills and improve their blackjack strategies.
Many of our recommended blackjack casinos, such as DuckyLuck and Super Slots, have free demo mode games for various blackjack games. Use these to hone your skills before switching to playing real money blackjack.
Learn About Blackjack Odds and House Edge
It’s essential to understand the odds and house advantage of online blackjack. These two factors go hand-in-hand and vary greatly depending on the blackjack game you’re playing. When the house edge is higher, your odds of winning long-term are lower, and vice versa.
For example, if the house edge on Classic Blackjack is 1.45%, then your RTP is 98.55%. You should make sure you fully understand the house edge of the games you play so you know how much you can expect to win on average. Note that the specific odds per hand vary depending on which cards you are dealt, and what the dealer’s face-up card is.
Ensure the blackjack variant that you are playing is relevant to the training and learning process you have been through. Check that the odds and RTP value for the variant of blackjack is suitable for your bankroll and betting balance.
Manage Your Blackjack Bankroll
To optimize your blackjack experience always establish a bankroll (gambling budget) before you start playing. A bankroll is a set amount of funds specifically for wagering on blackjack games.
Having a fund before you begin helps you stick to your budget and avoid overspending. It’s also essential to know what your bankroll is in order to decide on the best betting strategy.
Responsible Blackjack Play
You should always gamble responsibly when playing blackjack games online for real money. There are many online resources available if you have a gambling problem or addiction. Follow these tips for a safe and enjoyable blackjack experience.
Set Limits:
Setting time and budget limits helps control your spending and breaks up prolonged gambling. Many online casinos let you set spending limits from your account settings.
Play at Reputable Gambling Sites
Playing at trusted online casinos with self-exclusion policies allows you to voluntarily exclude yourself or take a break from wagering at the casino.
Create a Gambling Bankroll
Create a budget for playing blackjack games and stick to it. Avoid chasing losses and never gamble with money you can’t afford to lose.
